I want to encourage you in pursuit of your vision for the lodge and Pheasant City as a ministry opportunity. You truly have been blessed with a unique way to reach people for Christ who may never "get it" in the church. Many of those may in fact be churched already - full of information about Christ but no knowledge of Him.

My wife was out of town visiting friends while we were there hunting. This newly-married couple is seeking God, and he wants to come to SD the next time I go. That would be an answer to my prayer for God to develop this relationship. What he and the world need to see is real men seeking hard after God with no pretense of religion and no need for the world’s way – AND having big fun at the same time."

Thank you for the gracious hospitality and hunting that you provided to our men’s group from Zion Lutheran Church in Anoka, MN.  This event provided a unique way for the men that were able to come to connect with each other and experience God’s creation and abundance. This trip provided a way for new friendships to start and for men to be with men in the great outdoors.  And what a hunt you provided!  The birds were plentiful and the meals provided were awesome. I am hopeful to return for another great time.

God has placed this vision upon your heart and given you the drive to accomplish it. Christian Men are disappearing from worship and withdrawing from their families, but when we come together and respond to God’s call, through Christ we can change the world. Men need fellowship with other men, and Pheasant City Lodge provides it naturally.
